Howards Lick

Howard's Lick (creek) runs across the edge of the property it is flowing and gurgling a lot this time of year. There is water in the Lick year round, it slows down a little in the summer months.

New roof still going up

The roof on the back of the farm house and the upper level reframed will give us a lot of space upstairs.

Soffit and Facia Detail

The new roof , with its steeper pitch has a new facia. This detail will also recieve a gutter.

The original house , built in 1902

This is the original farm house , notice the smaller front porch. Also the trees and land beyond was very bare compared to today , this area was logged pretty heavily back then. It is great to see the transformation of the original house through each stage of its life. This may be the best form of Sustainability.
